Privacy Policy

Overview
Lot to See ("the App") is a property boundary explorer built by Middle Out. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
Data We Access
The App accesses the following device capabilities:
- Camera — Used exclusively for the augmented reality (AR) feature that overlays property boundaries on your camera feed. Camera frames are processed on-device and are never transmitted or stored.
- Location (When In Use) — Used to show your position on the map, find nearby parcels, and align AR boundaries to real-world coordinates. Location data is sent to our server only to query nearby parcel records and is not stored or logged.
- Motion & Orientation — Used by ARKit to stabilize the AR experience. Processed entirely on-device.
Data We Store
- Saved Parcels & Recent History — Stored locally on your device using UserDefaults. This data is not transmitted to any server.
- App Preferences — Settings like AR camera height, map style, and debug panel state are stored locally on your device.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect personal information, analytics, or usage data.
- We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics SDKs.
- We do not create user accounts or require sign-in.
- We do not sell, share, or monetize any data.
Third-Party Services
- CARTO — Provides base map tiles. Your device requests map tiles directly from CARTO's servers, which may log IP addresses per their own privacy policy.
- Apple ARKit & MapKit — Used for AR and Look Around features. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Parcel Data
All property data displayed in the App comes from publicly available records published by MetroGIS and county assessor offices. This data is public domain.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
